Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor developed and made by Adobe Inc. Developed alongside with Adobe Photoshop as a companion product, Adobe illustrator is used for creating logos, graphics, cartoons and fonts for the photo-realistic layouts of Adobe Photoshop. Illustrator work space is designed to allow you to be as creative as you want without a lot of distractions.
How to use the laser
When trying to to use the laser and engrave a logo or design into an object we use illustrator. You first have to make the logo/design and make sure the lines are Red if you want to cut it out or Blue if you want to engrave. Then once you have the image and made sure to double and triple check it. Move the image to your H-Drive or a hard drive and plug it into the computer connected to the laser. Then you upload it and print it to the laser and make sure all the settings are correct by following the sheet by the laser. Place a piece of plastic or other material. Line up at least one side with the edge of the cutting area, line up the laser in one corner and make it line up in the software as well. TURN ON THE EXHAUST. Then close the lid and press the big green play button and wait till the laser finishes and then your done.
How to use the vinyl cutter
To use the vinyl cutter you have to make a design in Illustrator and then transfer that to a USB or your H-Drive and then go down to the cutter login or plug in and select the part you want to cut out out. Grab a roll of vinyl and place it on the back line it up with the pads and clamp down, then press the start button, the machine will measure the piece of vinyl and begin cutting out your design. Once it is done you grab the knife cut the vinyl off of the roll making sure not to cut the machine. Then work on transferring the design to what ever it is going on.
