Recipe
When I started this project I wanted to make it an actually good piece of work and I had a good idea to cut my clock out of wood but that never happened from me leaving for a week in the middle of the work time and so I got behind and had to scratch the complex parts of the clock. So I went for a more simple design out of mat board and still kept the same viking design on my clock face. Then with everything else I kept pretty much the same. I started with the designing of the actual clock face and cut/engraved that on the laser and then made the numbers for the face and did that on the vinyl cutter. I then had to make a hook for it so I designed one on inventor and 3D printed that on and by then I just had to put the clock together and I had a finished project.
What I Learned
What I learned in the last project in IDEA is not to leave half way through it and mess up your whole idea for a good looking clock. But I did manage to get all the parts done and get the clock working and somewhat look good with the class time I had left. I I could go back and do something different I would manage my time better and get the final planning done and get all the materials together then just crank it out when I needed to.
